Vokobere is a Prague-based acoustic vocal quartet working at the crossroads of folk, pop and country. The group was founded in 2009 by Jiří Vondráček and Petr Kocman - both established figures on the Czech folk scene - as a trio whose name is built from the opening syllables of the founders' surnames: VOndráček, KOcman, BErka. After the death of founding member Tomáš Berka in October 2018, the lineup was rebuilt as a quartet with violinist HeléN and keyboardist Filip Šašek. Their sets blend original songs with covers of Beatles, Eagles, John Denver and Marsyas, all delivered in rich multi-part harmonies.
Vokobere will perform at the Folková Dvorana 2026 event together with the bands Plešbend and Schovanky.
In December 2025, the band performed at the Royal Christmas Markets in Hradec Králové on the Great Square.
In March 2025, the band performed a concert at the Prague club Velký Mlýn as part of the Folková mlýnice series, with singer Denisa Marková as a special guest.
