White Death

A dystopian science-fiction opera in three parts, loosely continuing "The Man in the Spacesuit" (2019) and "Nulanus" (2022). The story unfolds after Earth has been knocked out of its orbit, as humanity struggles for the last habitable regions. An aging Finnish sniper named Simo teaches trees to shoot in order to defend him from aliens. Horst, a former teleshopping salesman, manufactures androids that care for lonely people until their death. In the finale, the characters meet in a studio for the presentation of a new android—and the trees in the audience applaud.
