Landscape of St. George

A guided walk through a valuable area between Potoční Park and Pecihrádek, led by landscape architect Klára Salzmann. The tour explores the landscape around the confluence of the Mže and Úslava rivers, where nature-friendly ecosystems with significant ecological and recreational functions have been preserved.

The discussion will focus on the role of river floodplains, wetlands, and green spaces in cooling the city, retaining water in the landscape, and mitigating the impacts of climate change - why such areas are important stabilizing elements of the urban environment and what challenges their protection presents for the future.
