Kateřina Marie Tichá & Bandjeez
Sono Music Club, Brno
Kateřina Marie Tichá comes from Vlašim and was nominated for the Czech Slavík award in the Breakthrough of the Year category in 2013. That same year she began collaborating with the band Jelen. In 2015 she released a five-song EP "Otazníky", and in 2020 her debut album "Sami", which won the Anděl award.
She followed up her debut with the album "Plamen" – her first recorded with the band Bandjeez, which she took over from David Stypka, and produced by Ondřej Turták. The album was released in early February 2024, became one of the best-selling albums in the Czech Republic, and a single from it reached 3rd place among the most-played songs on Czech radio, competing with international releases.
The original "Plamen" tour had 13 stops and was sold out – including concerts at Prague's Lucerna Music Bar and Brno's Sono Music Club. Due to the tour's success, 18 additional concerts across the Czech Republic were added. On stage, Kateřina Marie Tichá is accompanied by the band Bandjeez and a brass section.
