On Children's Day, step into the world of J. R. R. Tolkien – linguist, university professor, writer, husband, and father, who created The Lord of the Rings. He once told his children the first stories, which later grew into The Hobbit and the entire legendarium of Middle-earth.
The programme will explore Tolkien's life, his formative years, the creation of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and his personality beyond his role as an author. The presentation is prepared by Nerdopolis and the podcasts Walks with Tolkien and There and Back Again. Harp accompaniment will be provided by Kamil "Šedovous" Kaiser.
