Rockfest Zdounky is an open-air festival held on the football pitch in Zdounky. The event takes place on 27 June 2026 from 13:00.

Confirmed bands from the Czech rock and punk scene include Protheus, Jamaron, Znouzectnost and Dark Gamballe. The full line-up was announced by the organisers in May 2026.

Tickets are available for pre-sale on smsticket.cz.

About the venue: Zdounky Football Field

The TJ Zdounky football ground is home to the local club founded in 1942, one of the few smaller villages in the district where organised football took root from the start. The club has competed at various levels from the district league up to the regional league. The ground hosts matches for the men's team and youth sides, and occasionally serves as a venue for music festivals such as Rockfest Zdounky.

About: Protheus

Protheus is the solo project of Czech singer Jan Macků (born 1983 in Chrudim), who took the name from his time leading the metal band Dymytry (2005-2023). Following a farewell concert at Prague's O2 Arena in November 2023, Macků has devoted himself fully to his own band. He has released three studio albums - Závislosti (2022), Nepřestávej snít (2023) and Svět lidí (2025) - moving away from metal toward melodic rock and significantly expanding his listener base.

About: Jamaron

Founded in November 2013 by siblings Jakub, Marie and Ondřej Dostál, Jamaron takes its name from a combination of the three founders' first names. The Prague-based five-piece ensemble, led by vocalist Marie Dostálová, has established itself as one of the most significant young rock bands in the Czech Republic through the release of four studio albums. The band nearly sold out Prague's Forum Karlín in April 2026 and embarked on the ten-date Něco zůstane tour 2026 that autumn.

About: ZNOUZECTNOST

Znouzectnost (abbreviated ZNC) is a Czech punk-rock band from Pilsen, established in 1986 when such music faced direct suppression from the secret police. The group progressively expanded their sound to include folk elements, ballads and melodic rock'n'roll while maintaining their trademark sharp, ironic songwriting. Operating as a consistent trio since 2008 - Déma on guitar and vocals, Golda on bass and vocals, and Caine on drums and vocals - the band has released over ten studio albums across more than three decades. They remain among the longest-active ensembles in the Czech punk scene.

Dark Gamballe, a crossover metal band from Vyškov in Moravia, began as the thrash/death metal project Dark in July 1990. Since 2000, the group has performed alternative metal infused with prominent electronic and industrial elements under their current name. The band has produced fifteen studio albums and performed over one thousand concerts worldwide across three continents, receiving repeated nominations for the Czech Anděl and Břitva awards.
