About

Vypsaná fiXa is a Czech punk-pop band from Pardubice, active since 1994. Frontman Michal Mareda, known as Márdi, writes surrealist, poetic lyrics that draw on authors such as William Saroyan and Gabriel García Márquez. Over three decades the band has released eleven studio albums and built a reputation as one of the most consistent live acts on the Czech scene.

    The band Vypsaná fiXa released on May 22, 2026 their eleventh studio album Ideál (San Piego Records), featuring the single and music video Fakin párty.

    In autumn 2026 the band embarks on the Ideál tour across Czech cities; the album premiere will take place on August 20 at Prague's Areál 7.

  • 2026-03

    In March 2026 the band released the first single Bylo to jistý jako a foretaste of the album Ideál.

  • 2025-12

    The sold-out tour Krása nesmírná XX Tour was extended with spring dates in 2026, and the band simultaneously announced the recording of a new studio album.

  • 2024-08

    In August 2024 Vypsaná fiXa celebrated thirty years of existence with a double concert on Prague's Střelecký Island.
