About

This Will Destroy You is an American post-rock band formed in 2005 in San Marcos, Texas, by guitarists Chris King and Jeremy Galindo. From the start they committed to purely instrumental music - layered, effects-heavy guitars moving between hushed ambience and crushing crescendos. Their self-titled 2008 album and the debut EP Young Mountain brought them international recognition, and their track 'The Mighty Rio Grande' has appeared in films including Moneyball, Room, and World War Z.
