Grails is an American instrumental band from Portland, Oregon, active since the late 1990s. Their music blends post-rock, psychedelia and cinematic soundscapes into something that resists easy genre labels. Core members Alex Hall and Emil Amos also record as Lilacs & Champagne, a project built around sampling and collage. Their 2023 album Miracle Music crafts minimalist sound sculptures with an exotic, unsettling edge.
