Long Distance Calling is a post-rock and progressive rock band from Münster, Germany, active since 2006. The quartet - guitarists David Jordan and Florian Füntmann, bassist Jan Hoffmann, and drummer Janosch Rathmer - builds its sound almost entirely on instrumental compositions that fuse heavy guitar riffing with cinematic atmospheres. Over two decades they have released nine studio albums, from the 2007 debut Satellite Bay through to The Phantom Void (2026), cementing a reputation as one of Europe's most compelling live acts in progressive rock.
