Currents are an American metalcore band from Newtown, Connecticut, formed in 2011. Signed to SharpTone Records, they blend technical djent-influenced riffs with melodic passages and Brian Wille's vocals, which shift between clean singing and screams. Their three studio albums - The Place I Feel Safest (2017), The Way It Ends (2020), and The Death We Seek (2023) - established them as a leading act in progressive metalcore, followed by the 2025 EP All That Follows.
