DJ Rush, born Isaiah Major on January 9, 1970 in Chicago, is an American DJ and producer rooted in the city's late-1980s house and techno scene. He relocated to Berlin in 1996, broke through across Europe in 1998 with "Motherfucking Bass", and co-founded the Kne'Deep label and booking agency with Tina Panitzke. He calls his style "Hard Energy" - hard, rhythmically dense sets that weave techno together with house, jazz and soul.
