Radek Beran

About

Radek Beran is a Czech puppeteer, director and screenwriter, and a founding member of the alternative puppet theatre Buchty a loutky since 1991. He trained in puppet performance at DAMU and appeared as a puppeteer in Jan Svěrák's film Kuky se vrací. His directorial work includes the puppet films Chcípáci and Malý pán, and in 2024 he released Velký pán.
