Burning of Witches in Dobřichovice at Jez Dobré naději 2026

A traditional witch-burning celebration during Filipojakubská night takes place at one of the largest bonfires in the Central Bohemian region, prepared annually by local fishermen. The event starts at 18:00 regardless of weather. The band Steakhaus will perform throughout the evening and into the night. The evening includes abundant refreshments — burgers will be served, and a small beer festival featuring three breweries and several beer varieties. The Jez Dobré naději restaurant is located directly on the banks of the Berounka River opposite Dobřichovice Castle.
