Outlaw is an orthodox black metal duo founded in São Paulo in 2015 by guitarist and vocalist D. (also known as Nahasheol). The band relocated to Dresden, Germany, where their sound evolved from raw Brazilian black metal toward a more melodic style drawing on the Swedish tradition of Dissection and Watain. Their fourth full-length album, Opus Mortis, was released on October 31, 2025 via AOP Records.
Outlaw released their fourth album Opus Mortis on October 31, 2025 on the AOP Records label; the physical release on CD and vinyl followed on December 12, 2025.
In August 2025, Outlaw announced the album Opus Mortis and released the first single 'Through the Infinite Darkness'.
The album Opus Mortis features members of the Swedish band Dödsrit (Georgios and Jelle Soolsma) and guitarist Lucas Veles from the Brazilian war metal band Blasphemaniac.
In March 2023, the third album Reaching Beyond Assiah was released, which critics hailed as a turning point in the band's evolution towards melodic black metal.
