Groove Brno: Narvan & Brass Section
Czech funk-rock band Narvan returns with their original repertoire and a specially prepared funky set featuring a brass section.
Narvan is a funk-rock band from Brno, Czech Republic, founded in 1994 by singer-songwriter Mario Feinberg after his return from stints in Germany, Australia and the USA. The group released three albums and earned a Czech Grammy nomination for Best Newcomer with their debut Bez Filtru. Their career was cut short in April 2000 when Feinberg and guitarist Martin Pokora died in a motorway accident on the D1. At the end of 2024 the band returned with three original members joined by vocalist Tomáš Sobotka and guitarist Petr Havlík.
