About: Narvan

Narvan, a funk-rock ensemble from Brno, was established in 1994 by singer-songwriter Mario Feinberg following his time abroad in Germany, Australia and the USA. The band achieved recognition through three album releases, with their debut Bez Filtru receiving a Czech Grammy nomination in the Best Newcomer category. A fatal motorway crash on the D1 in April 2000 claimed the lives of Feinberg and guitarist Martin Pokora, halting the group's trajectory. The band reconvened in late 2024 with three founding members alongside vocalist Tomáš Sobotka and guitarist Petr Havlík.
