
Dunaj + Načeva
A double concert of two Czech alternative-scene legends: Monika Načeva and her band present a musical project based on poems of persecuted artists, while Dunaj returns after twenty years in their original lineup.
Monika Načeva (born 1966, Choceň) is a Czech singer, actress and chanson artist working across alternative music, trip-hop and electronics. Her 1996 album Nebe je rudý, with lyrics by poet Jáchym Topol, became a landmark of the Prague underground scene. Alongside music she performs at Divadlo Sklep and the children's theatre Minor, and since 2019 has hosted the programme Sedmé nebe s Načevou on Czech Radio Vltava.
The album Nebe je rudý is released on vinyl for the first time in thirty years as a numbered limited edition 2LP in a run of 999 copies, accompanied by an anniversary tour.
Načeva performed at the Metronome Prague 2025 festival as part of the evening Pocta rockovým ikonám, where she opened the Thursday program.
Načeva participated in the Concert for National Parks alongside David Koller and Lenka Dusilová.
The album Jdem temným dnem was released on vinyl and CD in collaboration with the publisher Polí5; the album ranked 7th on the list of the best Czech-Slovak albums of 2024 according to Musicserver.
Načeva was nominated for the album Jdem temným dnem on the shortlist of the Anděl Awards in the category of female artist of the year.
