About
Labasheeda are an art-punk band from Amsterdam built around vocalist and violinist Saskia van der Giessen and guitarist Arne Wolfswinkel. Their music shifts between spacious bass-driven passages and heavy, guitar-led surges, with unorthodox time signatures and violin giving them a distinctive edge. The sixth album Blueprints, released in November 2023, drew wide praise from the international press.
