Jiří Piramovský is a Louny-based researcher and lecturer specialising in local history. He chairs the civic association Muzeum československého opevnění z let 1936-1938 Na Kočičáku, which works to restore and open the area's WWII-era bunkers to the public. He co-authored the book Obrana Loun v roce 1938 and gives regular talks at the Oblastní muzeum and the Městská knihovna in Louny.
