Lecture. In 1926, women from Louny made a flag and presented it to a Chomutov military unit in the presence of many notable figures. Historian Jiří Piramovský will discuss these grand celebrations, including the first film footage of Louny. Admission is voluntary.

About the venue: Regional Museum in Louny

The Oblastní muzeum v Lounech is a regional heritage museum founded in 1889, housed in listed historic buildings in the town centre. One of them is the House of the Sokols of Mor, featuring a late-Gothic oriel and a vaulted Gothic hall. The museum offers permanent exhibitions on history and natural sciences, a collection of petrified wood, and temporary exhibitions. Since 1994 it has also included an archaeological open-air museum in Březno u Loun.
