Jaroslav Ježek (1906–1942) was a Czech composer and pianist closely associated with the Osvobozené divadlo (Liberated Theatre) in Prague. He wrote music for the comedy duo Voskovec and Werich, and his songs such as Život je jen náhoda became icons of Czech popular music. His style blended jazz influences with avant-garde elements.
