Jan Piskoř is the co-owner of Hotel Medlov in Fryšava pod Žákovou horou in the Vysočina region. Together with his wife Klára, he bought the hotel in 2014 and has since been carefully restoring it, keeping its original character intact - from First Republic functionalism to the 1970s Brussels style. He personally leads guided tours of the hotel, which drew over 2,000 visitors in 2024 and 2025 combined.
