Jan Běťák is a Moravian singer-songwriter, violinist and guitarist. He first came to attention as a member of the band Bezobratři, then turned to solo work blending folk with touches of jazz and alternative. His debut Napodobování písma (2023) earned him an Anděl Award nomination in the folk category, and his second album Jazykem květin (2025) won him the Anděl outright, alongside the Proglas Radio prize for lyric writing.
