Marie Rottrová is a Czech singer often called the "Czech Lady Soul". Known for her powerful voice and soulful style, she has been active since the 1960s. Her best-known songs include Lásko, voníš deštěm, Markétka, and S tím bláznem si nic nezačínej.
In December 2024, Rottrová performed two Christmas galas with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava - on December 1st at the Ostravar Arena and on December 22nd at the Prague O2 Arena.
President Petr Pavel awarded Rottrová the Medal of Merit 1st Class for her contribution to the arts.
In February 2026, Rottrová performed with the Septet Plus group of Dalibor Kapras at the Community House in Prostějov.
