About

Hana Blažíková is a Prague-born soprano and harpist who has built her career around historically informed performance of medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music. She studied at the Prague Conservatory and Charles University, and now performs regularly with ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Gent, Bach Collegium Japan and Gli Angeli Genève. She also plays Gothic and Romanesque harp, often accompanying herself in medieval programmes. With more than thirty recordings to her name, she has appeared at venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Salzburg Festival.

    Blažíková performed at Kyiv Baroque Fest 2025 (November 10-21) at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine - she traveled to the war-affected country alone by train.
