Collegium Vocale 1704 is a Prague vocal ensemble founded in 2005 by conductor, harpsichordist and horn player Václav Luks as the choral wing of the Baroque orchestra Collegium 1704. The ensemble specialises in historically informed performance of 17th- and 18th-century repertoire and ranks among Europe's leading early-music groups. A particular focus of its programming is the music of Jan Dismas Zelenka and Josef Mysliveček, composers whose revival Luks has championed for two decades. Its recordings have won the Diapason d'Or, Trophées 2020 and Edison Klassiek Award, among other prizes.
Collegium 1704 and Collegium Vocale 1704 released an album with Zelenka's masses Missa Circumcisionis ZWV 11 and Missa Corporis Domini ZWV 3 at Harmonia Mundi publishing house - the first recording of Missa Circumcisionis on historical instruments.
The ensemble opened its jubilee season for the 20th anniversary with concerts in Prague's Rudolfinum and Dresden's Annenkirche, where it performed Zelenka and Händel's Dixit Dominus.
