Fukanec is a folk band from Nové Město nad Metují playing their own acoustic songs. The group is fronted by singer-songwriter Pavla Tymelová, backed by an all-male band. They won awards at the Porta folk festival and have released two albums - the debut Smím prosit? and the follow-up Na niti.
