Folk Team is a folk-rock band from Brno, founded in 1973 as an acoustic trio by Roman Venclovský, Pavel Kopřiva and Tomáš Úlehla. Over five decades the group earned two Porta songwriter awards in the 1980s, then shifted toward electric folk-rock after 1989. Their sound is defined by Ivan Huvar's poetic, often melancholic lyrics and Venclovský's expressive vocals.
