Ensemble Damian

About

Ensemble Damian is a Brno-based ensemble specialising in early and neo-Baroque music. The group is closely associated with La Dafne, a new setting of the oldest opera in history, which premiered in 2011 at the National Theatre Brno. The music was composed by Vít Zouhar and Tomáš Hanzlík to Ottavio Rinuccini's libretto.
