Flamenco guitarist Jerónimo Maya, descendant of legend Ramón Montoya, makes his Czech debut with a trio featuring a dancer and percussionist at the Ibérica festival.
Daniel Caballero Pérez is a Madrid-born flamenco dancer (bailaor) trained at the Centro de Danza Amor de Dios under Alfonso Losa, José Maya and others. He has performed at Madrid's leading tablaos - Casa Patas, Cardamomo, Torres Bermejas and Teatro Flamenco Madrid - and appeared as a guest artist alongside Montse Cortés, Jerónimo Maya and Belén López on stages across Spain and internationally. As a choreographer he leads his own productions Influencias and Equilibrio, both selected for the Certamen Coreográfico de Danza Española y Flamenco in 2022 and 2023. Solo projects take him regularly to the United States, Iceland and Germany.
Caballero performed as a guest artist at the Latin Grammy Awards 2023 and at the Premios Rolling Stone.
Caballero and bailaora Nerea Carrasco premiered their joint performance Equilibrio at the Miradas Flamenkas festival in Madrid.
Caballero conducted workshops for advanced dancers at the Flamencura school in the USA.
His choreography was selected twice in a row for the Certamen Coreográfico de Danza Española y Flamenco.
