Etno Brno 2026 - Der Šenster Gob

Der Šenster Gob is an acoustic band from Prague playing Romani, Jewish, and Balkan music. They travel across Europe in a romantic green wooden caravan, combining the raw energy of Eastern European folk music with innovative arrangements, unexpected stylistic shifts, and fiery improvisations. Their repertoire is highly danceable - the band performs at festivals, weddings, parties, jazz clubs, and synagogues.

Over the past 14 years they have performed more than 650 concerts in 26 countries, including live broadcasts for BBC and Czech Radio.
