Facesoul live in Brno

Facesoul, born Faisal Salah, is a Somali singer, songwriter, poet and storyteller based in London. He was born in East Africa and grew up between different cultures that deeply shaped both his music and personal journey.

At 19, he set out on a journey around the world, performing for communities in various countries. Along the way, he realized that despite differences in language, culture or origin, people share the same emotions, desires and stories. Since then, he has seen music as a form of service - a way to heal and connect people with one another.

His traditional Islamic roots are a significant source of inspiration and shape his identity and relationship with music. In his songs, he explores themes of faith, humanity, vulnerability, love, loss and the search for meaning in life.
