
Promenade Concert ASTRA SVITAVY 2026
The brass band Astra Svitavy presents a promenade concert filled with tradition and musical energy.
Šemberovo divadlo stands opposite the Pražská brána (Prague Gate) in Vysoké Mýto and is named after local linguist, translator and theatre pioneer Alois Vojtěch Šembera (1807-1882). The building was designed by local builder Vincenc Mašek and opened in August 1925. Its auditorium, with stalls and a balcony, seats 318 and hosts theatre performances, concerts and film screenings. The venue has no permanent ensemble - visiting companies come from across the country.
