About

Brno Strings is a string octet made up of principal players from two leading Brno ensembles - the Janáček Opera and the Brno Philharmonic. Several members also have long experience in chamber groups such as Czech Virtuosi, the Czech Chamber Soloists, and the Slavonic Quartet. The ensemble focuses on chamber repertoire and regularly accompanies Lenka Filipová on her symphonic concert tours.
