Prof. Anna Hogenová (born 1946) is a Czech philosopher, phenomenologist and professor of kinesiology, teaching at the Faculty of Education and the Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague. The author of more than forty books, she connects phenomenology with questions of embodiment, truth as unconcealment (aletheia) and authentic existence. Her lectures draw both academic and general audiences, in person and online.
Hogenová appeared as the main speaker at the Z hloubi 3 conference at the Faculty of Education of JČU in České Budějovice (14.-15. 11. 2025).
In October 2025, she participated in a public lecture on the anniversary of October 28 on the topic of state independence.
A recording of the lecture Life in its Fullness from the 2023 conference was published on YouTube, which was previously only accessible to paying participants.
Hogenová gave a lecture at the Socrato.cz conference with the topic How to Think About Today's World? as part of the Neznámá země 2025 festival.
Her new book The World is Getting Dumber! was published, following the book Toward a Conversation with Being Itself (2024).
