About the venue

Litomyšl Castle is a Renaissance UNESCO World Heritage Site built between 1568 and 1581, renowned for its exceptional sgraffito-decorated facades. The castle complex was the birthplace of composer Bedřich Smetana. It hosts the internationally acclaimed Smetanova Litomyšl opera festival every year.
