The South Castle Gardens are part of the Děčín Castle complex, perched on a rocky promontory above the confluence of the Elbe and Ploučnice rivers. The terraced gardens overlook the town and the river, and regularly host open-air concerts and cultural events in summer. The castle itself ranks among the most significant baroque monuments in northern Bohemia.
