About the venue

Winning Group Arena (formerly Hala Rondo) is the largest multipurpose indoor arena in Brno, designed by architect Ivan Ruller and opened in 1982. It sits at the corner of Poříčí and Nové Sady streets in the Staré Brno district and holds up to 7,700 spectators. HC Kometa Brno plays its home ice hockey matches here, and the venue also hosts concerts, dance and ballet performances, and various sports events. The arena has carried several names over the decades; since 2021 it bears the Winning Group name.
