About the venue

The Technical Museum in Brno is a state institution founded in 1961, dedicated to the history of science and technology in Moravia and Silesia. Its main building in the Královo Pole district houses 17 permanent exhibitions ranging from steam engines and historic cars to computing and traditional crafts. The interactive Technical Playroom lets visitors of all ages explore the laws of physics hands-on. The museum also manages six off-site technical monuments across the region, three of which hold national cultural heritage status.
