Stadion Strahov in Prague is the largest stadium in the world by surface area, with eight pitches capable of holding over 200,000 people. It was built for Sokol gymnastics rallies and later became the main venue for Czechoslovak spartakiads. Today the complex hosts sports events, open-air concerts and festivals.
