Strahov Stadium Tour (German-language guided tour)
As part of Open House Praha, the Strahov Stadium - one of the world's largest sports stadiums - opens its doors. A guided tour will take participants to the presidential lounge, the western stand, and the galleries. Learn about the history of this colossal venue, which once hosted Sokol festivals, spartakiads, concerts, and military parades; the original section of the stadium is now under heritage protection.
The tour is led by Tomáš Bílý. The event is organized by the non-profit Open House Praha, with proceeds supporting its activities. Tickets must be purchased in advance - group capacity is limited. If interest is low, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour no later than 48 hours before the start; ticket holders will be notified and information will be posted on the organizer's website.
Meeting point: in front of the Strahov Stadium gatehouse at the connecting bridge to Evžen Rošický Stadium. Parking in front of the gatehouse (and under the bridge) is available and free. The guide's phone number will be provided on your ticket. The tour is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours.
We recommend sturdy walking shoes - the surface is uneven and heels are entirely unsuitable. In certain areas, follow the guide's instructions and move carefully; entry is at your own risk. Strict prohibition on entry with animals. The organizer may take photographs and/or video recordings for documentation and promotional purposes.
