About the venue

ssesi.space is an interdisciplinary cultural organisation based on the steep Svratka riverbanks in Brno's Jundrov district, on land once used as communal gardens that are now slowly rewilding. It brings together artists, architects, environmental scientists and the wider public through performative events, workshops, residencies and site-specific experiments. Every two weeks it runs the community sauna evening Too Hot To Handle, and once a year it hosts the Hydrotherapy art, music and community festival by the Svratka.
