Window to Fuchs - Tribute to an Architect / Community Weaving Project
Exhibition honoring architect Fuchs with a community weaving component at the Moravian Museum.
The Slovácké muzeum (Museum of Moravian Slovakia) was founded in 1914 and has focused on ethnography and archaeology from the start, later expanding into fine arts and history of the Slovácko region. The main building in Smetanovy sady - extended by architect Bohuslav Fuchs and listed as an architectural monument since 1964 - houses the permanent multimedia exhibition Slovácko alongside rotating shows. The museum also runs a gallery, the Great Moravia memorial in Staré Město, a folk distillery museum in Vlčnov, and an open-air museum in Topolná.
