Gossip with Angels — Moravian Slovakia Museum, Uherské Hradiště

An exhibition by artist Eva Blahová presents a world of knitted, crocheted, and theatrical angels, complemented by verses from Jan Skácel and Bohuslav Reynek.

Visitors can embroider an angel, play angel cards, try on costumes, or write their wishes to the angels.

About the venue: Moravian Slovakia Museum

The Slovácké muzeum (Museum of Moravian Slovakia) was founded in 1914 and has focused on ethnography and archaeology from the start, later expanding into fine arts and history of the Slovácko region. The main building in Smetanovy sady - extended by architect Bohuslav Fuchs and listed as an architectural monument since 1964 - houses the permanent multimedia exhibition Slovácko alongside rotating shows. The museum also runs a gallery, the Great Moravia memorial in Staré Město, a folk distillery museum in Vlčnov, and an open-air museum in Topolná.
