About the venue

Planetárium Ostrava sits within the Dolní oblast Vítkovice industrial heritage complex and ranks among the most technically advanced planetariums in the Czech Republic. A digital full-dome projection system brings space shows to life on a spherical dome, alongside lectures and school programmes. The building itself was converted from a historic industrial structure.
