The Oblastní muzeum v Lounech is a regional heritage museum founded in 1889, housed in listed historic buildings in the town centre. One of them is the House of the Sokols of Mor, featuring a late-Gothic oriel and a vaulted Gothic hall. The museum offers permanent exhibitions on history and natural sciences, a collection of petrified wood, and temporary exhibitions. Since 1994 it has also included an archaeological open-air museum in Březno u Loun.
