The exhibition commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Czech Midlands Protected Landscape Area. It presents the topography of the region, its unique geological structure, typical flora and fauna, and other interesting features of the Czech Republic's second-largest protected territory.

About the venue: Regional Museum in Louny

The Oblastní muzeum v Lounech is a regional heritage museum founded in 1889, housed in listed historic buildings in the town centre. One of them is the House of the Sokols of Mor, featuring a late-Gothic oriel and a vaulted Gothic hall. The museum offers permanent exhibitions on history and natural sciences, a collection of petrified wood, and temporary exhibitions. Since 1994 it has also included an archaeological open-air museum in Březno u Loun.
