MISE: Report on the Mission Museum in Bohosudov
An exhibition unveiling the collection of the Mission Museum in Bohosudov and the stories behind its objects and the people who shaped it.
The Regional Museum and Gallery in Most was founded in 1888 and occupies the former German Realgymnasium at the foot of Hněvín castle - one of the few surviving buildings from the demolished old town, listed as a cultural monument. Permanent exhibitions cover the geology of north-west Bohemia, church art from the Most region, and the jewellery of Baroness Ulrika von Levetzow, Goethe's last love. The gallery regularly hosts contemporary art shows and thematic exhibitions on regional history.
