Guided Tour of the Kladno Tower Museum
A 90-minute guided tour exploring the history and architecture of Kladno's distinctive tower buildings, including a model apartment, civil defence shelter, and rooftop views across the Czech landscape.
Muzeum věžáků is the first museum in the Czech Republic dedicated to housing-estate architecture, opened in 2020 inside one of the six tower blocks of the Josefa Havlíčka estate (built 1953-1957). The guided tour runs from basement to rooftop, taking in the restored entrance hall, a period-furnished show flat, a civil defence shelter, and a rooftop terrace. The museum is run by the city of Kladno; 90-minute tours take place every Saturday and must be booked in advance.
